Please note, the June 7 service will be outside, weather permitting. Plans are in place to hold the service, inside if rain occurs. Social distancing guidelines will be in place.

Dear Calvary Chapel Church Family,

I am excited to announce we are preparing to reopen the church beginning Sunday, June 14 with services resuming at 9am and 11am and Wednesdays at 7pm. We are taking extra measures to ensure the safety of the church. The following guidelines will apply upon reopening:

1) In adhering to social distancing guidelines, we will have limited seating in the sanctuary, where the ushers will escort you to your seat to accommodate the proper distance. Families and those in the same household are able to sit together. Please remember with our newly remodeled sanctuary, we ask you to not bring food or drinks in the sanctuary with the exception of water. Once the sanctuary has reached the maximum capacity with social distancing, you will be directed to be seated in the fellowship hall or bookstore as overflow rooms.

2) There will be a temporary postponement of children’s ministry upon our return. Children are asked to sit with their parents. If you feel your child is able to sit quietly they may join you in the sanctuary, otherwise families are also welcome to utilize the bookstore and fellowship hall seating. The nursing mother’s room and family room are available with limited seating.

3) There will also be no youth services held on Sundays temporarily until further notice. However, the youth are resuming their Friday gatherings from 6-8PM held in the main building.

4) Ushers will be stationed to open doors to limit door handling.

5) Hand sanitizers will be available throughout the church for use.

6) Masks are encouraged but not required.

7) We ask for the time, for us to refrain from handshakes and close contact to ensure the safety of others.

8) Please do not attend service if you are experiencing any cold or flu-like symptoms or if you have been in contact with anyone confirmed to have COVID-19 in the past 21 days.

9) Those who have pre-existing conditions and who are elderly are encouraged to view the church service from home with our livestream, although you are welcome to come if you are comfortable in so doing.

10) Those attending are welcome to fellowship before and after services, but we ask for social distancing to be used. We want not only to be safe, but to understand that everyone who returns will have different levels of comfort regarding being around people again. Let us respect each other and walk in love.
